Louisville Metro Arc is one of more than 700 chapters of The Arc and our mission is to promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community.

We champion the civil rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in areas such as education, housing, employment, health care and more.  We are also the nation's leading and largest community-based nonprofit working for people with I/DD across all diagnoses– from Autism to Down syndrome to Fragile X, and more than 100 other developmental disabilities.
How can the Arc make a difference in your life?
